The ZZ DROP This 1971 Chevrolet Blazer C-5 has an a very cool story. Larry Bovard purchased the two wheel drive Blazer from San Miguel County after they realized that the 2WD vehicle was not the vehicle of choice for winter driving in the Colorado San Juan Mountains. When Larry learned that the vehicle was for sale and that it was a 2WD, his drag racing background kicked into high gear. Larry grew up drag racing in Nebraska and he knew he could do something special with a 2WD Blazer. He ended up winning the bid on the Blazer for an undisclosed price. It was initially driven as a family vehicle and ended up going through two restorations to get to the C-5 that you see here. We featured vintage photos of Larry's C-5 on his retractable Show Sign so viewers could appreciate the vehicles early beginnings while listening to Larry's humorous stories of raising his family with the Chevrolet Blazer. Larry always had a vision of naming his Blazer the ZZdrop so we created a special logo for him that is now featured on his Show Sign. Retractable Show Signs are a great way to tell your car's story. The retractable feature allows easy storage and transport making them perfect for car enthusiasts who drive their cars or trucks to car shows. The padded case easily fits into most trunks, protecting the sign while in route. We've nicknamed this sign "It's a Driver". Custom Chevrolet C5 at the Lmc truck c10 nationals in texas
